Unlike traditional classroom training, where a simple "tips and techniques" approach to instruction might be used, ABR's solutions balance the need for content with the "ramp up quickly" demands of today's marketplace.

An example of an ABR blended-solution might include an e-learning module that a learner would take prior to attending a one-hour, hands-on workshop where skills introduced in e-learning can be practiced. This training would then be followed by a toolkit that would provide recursive information to support the learner on the job, adding value to their role.
