Joe Webster, Designer/Programmer

With eight years' experience building Web and CD-ROM applications, Joe brings to ABR a blending of design and development skills, with a diverse technical background in Adobe and Microsoft applications. Still, he shrugs off the inevitable "computer geek" label. "A lot of people who do what I do are very specialized," he admits. "I'm kind of the opposite—a jack of all trades."

But Joe might be surprised to hear his ABR colleagues disagree. Having studied digital design through the University of Cincinnati's prestigious DAAP program, he now works as a consultant on e-learning projects and website development—which means making presentations look attractive even before the inserted copy shows up. One recent project involved designing a screen, building modules, and only then plugging in the text and story boarding. And finally, as Joe puts it, "building some pretty graphics to go along, and making all of the interactions work." Not a master? Well, certainly an expert.
