Listing her various duties at ABR, Teresa quickly becomes just a little breathless: "Bookkeeping, payroll, logistics, compiling evaluative reports, invoicing..." Easy to see that ABR's smooth operation would be a challenge without her.
Teresa attended Northern Kentucky University with a major in accounting, then secured a position managing a savings and loan. She moved on to a large law firm where she created and ran a central billing system. Fourteen years later, she took a similar position with a construction company. All three positions gave Teresa valuable experience in dealing not only with facts and figures, but also with a variety of interacting personalities. Within ABR's creative environment, though, Teresa feels she has truly found her niche. "While everyone else is out there conceptualizing, developing, designing and training, I'm the one who's back here saying, "We've got to keep this cash flow steady!' As the primary record-keeper here, I feel good to be able to contribute such a sense of stability."
